What Is Hybridge?

HYBRIDGE® is a dental prosthesis that resembles dentures or a dental bridge and is anchored to the jaw bone with dental implants. Strong and secure, Hybridge® permanently replaces multiple teeth that have fallen out or been extracted because of dental disease, decay or a traumatic injury. Dental implants prevent the deterioration of the jawbone and the devastating consequences. When a tooth falls out, the underlying jawbone can start to shrink from neglect. This can cause the facial features to look sunken or depressed or even start to collapse. The titanium post of the Hybridge® implant acts as an artificial tooth root, and is placed into the jawbone. Normal chewing on the post keeps the jawbone stimulated and the facial structure intact.
